About Me

Hello, I'm Smita.

A writer thinking in public about philosophy, psychology, and business — and building a body of work, one essay at a time.

My story

I started writing because thinking alone wasn't enough — ideas only become clear when I'm forced to put them into clean sentences. This site is where that happens in the open. Replace this with your own story: where you come from, what lit the spark, and why you write.

What I study & write about

I'm drawn to the seams where disciplines meet: the psychology behind business decisions, the philosophy hidden inside everyday habits, and the social forces that quietly shape how we live. I write essays, keep a digital garden of unfinished thoughts, take notes on the books I read, and break down companies in case studies.

Goals

To publish consistently, build a serious archive of thinking, sharpen my analytical voice, and — over time — turn this into a portfolio strong enough to stand behind an application to a top business school.

Favorite books

Meditations by Marcus Aurelius · Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman · Zero to One by Peter Thiel — and a rotating shelf I keep in Book Notes.
